Age of Arthur

I have added a page with a gallery of pictures of my 28mm 5th-century post-imperial British army.  The shield designs and motifs on the borders of the tunics are based upon the ‘Quoit Brooch Style’ metalwork found south of the Thames.  In my ‘Age of Arthur’ series I suggested that the political grouping suggested by the distribution of this very Roman-influenced artwork might have been associated with Ambrosius Aurelianus and so have given the name ‘Ambrosians’ to this force.  I hope you like the pictures (captions to follow when time permits, as well as more pics) but more than that I hope it gives you some ideas for painting your own figures.
